Public forum or discussion on the issue is recommendable. But young reach ang problema. House to house, community to community visit and community is so commendable pero ganon di ilang bahay lang o community ang maiikotan. Dahil majority of the population, esp those who do know and hear the issue.

In a nutshell, foreign investments aren't bad per se. Foreign investments can help an economy develop as long as these are government regulated to ensure technology transfer, employment, use of local materials, and so on.

But under this Chacha push, foreign investments are being treated like the magic bullet to development, which they can't be if our agriculture remains neglected, if we don't build our own strong industries, if we keep workers' wages low, if we don't help the vulnerable get up on their feet in an economy that's designed to benefit them.

Chacha is being pushed by the trapos who are believers of how the economy is already being run today - all that neglect sa economic foundations and sa Filipino people.

They're just using the 'foreign investments will bring development' to entice the public to support Chacha but - yun nga, foreign investments HAVE NOT brought development.

Strengthening the domestic economy, implementing wage hikes, expanding social protection, public services and nationalizing public utilities - these will bring development.
