Good morning! Hello Batasang Pambansa, where Marcos is expected to deliver his penultimate State of the Nation Address at 4pm today.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s message on the 112th Anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC):

Explosion reported near DOJ compound

An explosion believed to have been caused by an improvised explosive device occurred near the entrance of the Department of Justice (DOJ) along Padre Faura Street in Ermita shortly after midnight on Sunday, July 27.

The DOJ said there were no reported casualties. The Philippine National Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit responded to the scene and is conducting a technical examination, while authorities continue investigating the source, nature, and circumstances surrounding the explosion.

Members of the Senate minority bloc — Senators Alan Peter Cayetano, Robin Padilla, Imee Marcos, and Loren Legarda — will skip the State of the Nation Address of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. later this afternoon. @here
